I wanted to share with all of you my first picture with my new D50. This is my 16 year old cat, Kissa (that's Finnish for 'cat', btw). You can even see the Nikkor lens boxes in the background.

Thanks! I used to think 16 was pretty old for a cat, but it doesn’t seem so old to me now. Our last cat lived to see 23. Since we started feeding all of our animals a natural raw diet, they seem to live forever.
this is kind of neat. It reminds me of the close up of the dog on the flickr sign in page – not the white dog the brown dog with his nose near the camera.
