Proximity to an airport means that hotels have to contend with high levels of aircraft noise. Travellers prefer hotels with excellent sound-proofing to shut out the noise of those jet engines.

Since many of the people using airport hotels are travelling on business they appreciate being able to receive their email and work online. Many today think of this as an essential service.
5: Meeting Rooms
Rather than conduct business meetings in public areas it is far more preferable to use dedicated meeting rooms. Hotels which provide these facilities are favoured by many business travellers.
6: Shops
Gift shops in airport hotels allow the time-pressed business traveller to pick up those all-important gifts for spouses and children without the need to venture into town.

The ability to get a hot meal, 24 hours a day, is cited by many business travellers as a top priority. This was particularly important to those who had experienced early morning flights before breakfast was available in the hotel.

I stayed in a cheap hotel in Melbourne about a year ago it was advertised as being close to the airport but it wasn’t that close and it was noisy. I since found a closer one and it offered almost all the details you list in the article except for gymnasium. Finding a good one near or at the airport is important when you travel a lot and once you find it it is best not to tell everyone!!!
