The Scalectric Pro GT Digital Race set is a truly magnificent slot car racing system that supersedes the previous World Championship Scalextric set. The X3 track is enormous. It’s the second largest track available from Scalextric and the largest available for digital racing systems. It provides two lane changing sections in a large figure of eight layout and comes with a lap counter along with an elevated crossover in the middle.
The new 6 car upgrade to the digital system allows up to 6 cars to be raced simultaneously on the same track. This new system also supports ghost cars. This means that you can race the system without the need for human competitors. The new powerbase extension also provides detailed lap time measurements.
Modern Scalextric cars come fitted with magnets that help to keep the cars on the track. They have working front and rear lights as standard which makes racing in the dark enormously exciting.
