The Americans call it a ‘butt’. We Brits tend to use words like ‘bottom’, ‘bum’ and ‘arse’. There are many words used to refer to the human hind quarters including ‘posterior’, ‘rear end’, ‘rump’, ’stern’, ‘tail’ and ‘tush’.
The anal orifice is often refered to using a variety of colourful euphemisms including ‘brown eye’, ‘brown bullet hole’, ‘barking spider’, ‘chocolate starfish’, ‘brown winker’ and ‘kaka cutter’.
